Product Description
A ball mill, a type of grinder, is a cylindrical device used in grinding materials like ores, chemicals, ceramic raw materials, and etc. Ball mills rotate around a horizontal axis, partially filled with the material to be ground plus the grinding medium. Different materials are used as media, including ceramic balls, steel balls and steel rods. After a certain period grinding in the chamber of ball mill, material will be ground into fine powder. Industrial ball mills can operate continuously, which fed at one end and discharged at the other end.

Working Principle
The raw material was fed into the ball mill through an hollow axis from a feeder or an upstream equipment. There are various kinds of medias with different diameters (steel ball, steel rod, ceramic balls, etc.). When the ball mill rotates horizontally with certain speed, it will create a cascading effects which will grind the ore into fine powder. The final product discharges from a hollow axis at the other end.
