High head low water hydro pelton turbine 3 mw 300 kw

A pelton Turbine often used in the water head more than 300 meters .there is usually a water reservoir located at some height above the powerhouse when used for generating electricity.The water through the penstock to nozzles that introduce pressurized water to the turbine.

Pelton turbine suit to water head 100 to 1000 meters and with certain small flow. It could vertical and horizontal arrangement, nozzle numbers from one to six. Pelton turbine with one or two nozzles usually adopt horizontal arrangement, but multiple nozzle Pelton turbine adopts vertical arrangement.
