These are chacoal for barbecue. The product name is Kisyu Binchotan Charcoal.
Our charcoal is genuine, authentic kisyu binchotan charcoal that is made of ubame oak, a kind of oaks that is very hard and heavy and grows windingly as if they are born just to become binchotan, and produced by a traditional method that has been taken over from generation to generation in the Kisyu region.
The high-grade charcoal has many advantages to be cherished around the world: infrared ray released form the charcoal grills the surface of food crispy and seals juice from the ingredients inside to increase and maximize the flavor, smoke do not include odor because it is burnt at over 1000 °C for about two weeks and most of the impurities inside it is eliminated, and do not reduce the natural flavor that the ingredients have, and temperature of the flame is higher and the burning time is longer than ordinary charcoals.
The sizes of binchotan charcoal varies and the fuel is extremely hard so as not be cut easily, but our products are cut into lumps to be used for household BBQ grills, as well as professional ones on.
