Semi-Flexible Disc :
Semi-Flexible Disc consists of aluminum oxide grain situated in a spiral pattern on vulcanized fiber backing. The aluminum oxide grains are dispersed throughout the spiral design of the disc. This spiral design allows for a cooler, more aggressive grinding and also helps to prevent loading. Additionally, as its name would imply, these discs have level flexibility that reduces vibrations when compared to other grinding discs. These semi-flex discs are a staple in metalworking, welding, construction, and plumbing. If you need to level or reduce surface imperfections as well as coatings and adhesives, such as paint then these are the discs for you. Common surfaces for this disc include ferrous metals, cold rolled steel, bronze, iron, stainless steel, and aluminum.
