S3660 series switch is designed by New Greennet for metro carrier, mainly used for the deployment of family Ethernet (ETTH) "unification of three networks" services and enterprise Ethernet (ETTB) VPN services. S3660 according to the needs of green energy saving, uses next-generation 65nm high-performance low-power processor, with the New Greennet NGBN unified operating system software to provide users with comprehensive multi-service bearing capability of Ethernet. It can support MPLS / VPLS features, TR101 and enhanced flexible QinQ, SmartLink / GERP and other tree/ring carrier-class network protection function, which has the Ethernet OAM functions to meet various business scenarios Metro Ethernet needs.
As case-shaped products with a chassis height of 1 U, the S3660 provides two product versions of SI and EI. The SI supports metro Ethernet features but not Layer 3 functions and the EI supports Layer 3 features. The models consist of:
