The TYCO Screw and Washer Fastener Kit allows you to build a waterproof base for your shower and customize it exactly how you want.

TYCO Fixing Washers are used to securely fix tyco Tile Backer Boards to substrates. Available in galvanised steel and stainless steel in packs of 100 or packs of 50. 35mm diameter. The washers are guaranteed not to rust and are for use in areas that are subject to high humidity or are constantly wet. TYCO Fixing Washers are reverse-countersunk, designed to fit flush with the surrounding board surface and facilitate the application of tiles and other surface finishes to the board. They prevent the fixing screws from penetrating the XPS foam core of TYCO boards and greatly improve the holding strength of the screws into the substrate below. TYCO Fixing Washers can be used to fix boards to most substrates such as studwork, wooden walls and other substrates. When using these washers to install tile backer boards in a shower, wet room area or other tiled areas exposed to wet conditions, we recommend covering each washer in the board with waterproofing material.
