Product Description
The radiant cross-linked polyethylene heat shrinkable sleeve is of intact seamless structure with a circumferential shrinkage greater than and equal to 50%. The heat shrinkable sleeve adopts hot melt adhesive in the middle layer and modified radiant cross-linked polyethylene in the outer layer. Shrinkage ratio of the radiant cross-linked polyethylene heat shrinkable sleeve is different from that of the radiant cross-linked heat shrinkable tape. In addition, the heat shrinkable sleeve is of a cylindrical integrated structure which presents higher safety and better effect. The product is made by combining the expanded radiant cross-linked polyethylene pipe with special hot melt sealant, which contributes to a special "memory" function. During the installation and construction of heat shrinkable sleeve, the shrinkage tape shrinks uniformly along the radial direction under the action of heat force, which makes the melted hot melt adhesive evenly and tightly be coated and filled in the pipeline joints or anti-corrosion components to form a perfect sealing surface.

The closed heat shrinkable sleeve is composed of radiant cross-linked polyethylene base material and special sealing hot melt adhesive by composition. This kind of hot melt adhesive with good bonding performance can combine with steel pipe primers and pipe coatings such as polyethylene, polypropylene, epoxy powder and coal tar epoxy to realize good seal protection effect (When it is difficult to preheat, the primer with excellent performance can be applied at low temperature to obtain favorable effect). Hot melt adhesive can form good adhesion with polyethylene base material, steel pipe surface and solid epoxy coating (three PE corrosion resistance). When the closed heat shrinkable sleeve is being heated, the base layer shrinks, and the rubber layer melts and forms a tight shrinkage coating around the repairing site. The closed heat shrinkable sleeve and the anti-corrosion layer of the original pipeline form a solid and continuous anti-corrosive body.
Since it is a closed tubular sleeve of seamless straight cylindrical structure, it should be applied aside the welding seam of the steel pipe before welding. After welding, pull it to the weld seam for baking, otherwise it can hardly cover the pipe after welding, which is also one of the noticeable differences from the heat shrinkable repairing tape. The shrinkage ratio of radiant cross-linked polyethylene heat shrinkable sleeve is different from that of heat shrinkable tape. In addition, the radiant cross-linked polyethylene heat shrinkable sleeve is of cylindrical integrated structure which presents higher safety factor and better effect.
