The Description of the Free Fall Lifeboat Davit
The Free Fall Lifeboat Davit is used for lifting and lowering the free fall type lifeboat and it
conforms the requirements of the Amendments to SOLAS MSC.47(66)&MSC.48(66), IMO Resolution MSC81(70) and MSC.216(82),msc.217(82) AND msc.226(82).
Free Fall Lifeboat is one of usual lifeboat for marine ships. It's made of fiberglass and designed in totally enclosed. There are two types lifeboat, common type free fall lifeboat and tanker type free fall lifeboat. The tanker lifeboat has
sprinkler system and compressed air system. These systems have essential functions for rescue when there is fire emergency.
The free fall type davit and the free fall lifeboat is a unit. The lifeboat will be lifted by the davit. According to different capacity free fall lifeboat, it will request the davit has c
orresponding lifting capacity.
The davit is usually come with the davit. But we also can supply the davit along according to the customer's requirements.
