Very easy to assemble; just remove plastic film and place the hook inside the top hole and it is ready to hook unto my closet pole. I have 5 levels for my hand bags and 30 shoe slots for 15 pairs of shoes. It is a 360 degree carousel closet organizer which makes it very easy to see all of my shoes. I bought this to be an arts and craft organizer for my closet and I knew I was going to be putting a lot of weight on it so I modified this product with a disk I hand cut out of cardboard. I then poked a hole in the center for the hanger and washer provided. I used an additionsl washer sized up a bit larger so that the smaller washer provided doesn't fall through the hole of the larger washer provided. The cardboard desk in the larger washer will distribute a little bit more weight and Mine is working great so far. Check out the picture I posted if you want to reinforce yours.
