1.Free fall lifeboat is used on the tanker, dry cargo vessel, offshore platform, etc. The boats are used to protect and provide an escape in an emergency evacuation or accident happen on board or offshore platform. The boats are skid launched and recovered by specific davits. And the boats own stability and self-fight stability when slant from 0°to 180°.

2.All free fall lifeboats produced are made of fireproof glass fiber reinforced polyester (GRP) and are injected with foam in certain areas to assure buoyancy and strength. Extra strengthening is built into the bow to absorb the forces of the water during diving. Now all bulk carriers are required to carry free fall lifeboats and the ones on tankers also need to be fireproof.Therefore, there are two types of free fall lifeboats.

Cargo version

The cargo version of free fall lifeboats are available in different sizes with capacities ranging from 16 up to 90 persons. The drop height ranges from 16 meters to 25 meters, depending on the size of the vessel.

Tanker version

The tanker version of free fall lifeboats are available in different sizes, with capacities ranging from 16 persons up to 90 persons. The drop height ranges from 16 meters to 25 meters, depending on the size of the vessel. All tanker free fall lifeboats are equipped with a water-spraying system for fire protection and an air supply system (for the maximum number of persons, for a minimum of 10 minutes). A fully loaded life boat is able to run at 6 knots during 24 hours and all boats are delivered with acomplete set of rescue equipment.
