Dimethyl ether is a colorless, flammable, easily liquefied, non-toxic gas, which is a gas at room temperature and a liquid under pressure. As a new clean fuel, its properties are similar to those of LPG cylinders, and after liquefaction, it is packed in steel cylinders, which is preferable for storage, transportation and use. It can replace LPG as a civilian fuel in bottles. It can also be modified to replace gasoline as a vehicle fuel.
