I bought a these to attach to the back of a solid wood bathroom door in order to hang towels and robes. I didn't use the anchors but drilled pilot holes for the screws. Remember to attach the nut to the screw before screwing in to the wood. The nut must be placed the right way around or the decorative caps won't snap on. I accidentally over drilled a screw in and squashed a nut. I'm going to just superglue the cap on as I don't intend to remove these hooks for a long time. I'd recommend using a screwdriver (cordless or manual) rather then your drill/driver to avoid squashing the nut using to much force. They look great, grab stuff well and are strong. Very pleased with them.

These are high quality, solid, and have a unique, streamlined, modern design. They look much nicer around the house than the standard kind I've seen at the hardware store, and are a nice shape for maintaining their hold on towels, pot holders, jackets, or whatever up you hang on them. They're easier to install, because the screw holes are easier to access straight on with the cordless drill/driver. They also have screw caps that are a nice finishing touch.

These are really heavy duty hooks. I bought them to hold a series of tote bags--probably a bit too much hook for that, but I don't need to worry about them falling off. I installed 10 of these, and I tried every possible way to get the decorative covers on, to no avail. I did attach one to the very last hook, but it popped off as I was cleaning up. It would be really helpful to include instructions for how to put them on, or to add a how-to video to the Amazon page.

I'm satisfied with these considering how cheap they were. They're sturdy enough to hold up a normal backpack, partially full, when screwed into drywall without even using anchors. They also look pretty good. The only drawback is that the ones I received had fairly sharp edges, enough so that I was worried they might end up fraying whatever I hung on them. I ended up grinding the edges down a bit with a dremel, and now they're perfect, but it did add an extra hour or so to the installation process.
