I live where the wind blows almost constantly. This is heavy and a size that fits under our heavy deck table and allows us to put the umbrella through the tabletop hole and not have to worry about the wind tipping or taking off with any of it. Just what we were looking for!
The site where I stand my umbrella is a loose-rock patio. The fact that the base is flat and heavy adds to its stability and sturdiness. I gave it four stars because although it’s weight does make it more stable than my previous one, it does make it
harder as far as maneuverability goes.
