What is it?
HN-8806 Two-component Addition Type Potting Compound
This product is a two-component addition type silicone potting compound. The colloid is cured into a high-performance elastomer by room temperature or heating. It has excellent electrical properties, aging resistance, high and low temperature resistance (-50ºC~+250ºC), thermal conductivity and moisture resistance. Deep curing is good, the shrinkage rate is extremely low after curing, no heat and by-products are released, no corrosion to potting components, no pollution to the surrounding environment, in line with RoHs standards and related environmental protection requirements. Its good thermal conductivity can effectively transfer the heat emitted by electronic components when they work.
Product Usage
This product is widely used in the potting and sealing of electronic components, such as various power modules, circuit boards, high-voltage transformers, battery packs, fast charging adapters and other products. , Flame retardant, anti-environmental pollution, anti-vibration, protection of circuits and components, LED outdoor drive power, waterproof and thermal conductivity, LED lamps and lanterns moisture-proof protection.
Instructions
(1)When using, first stir components A and B evenly, and then weigh components A and B in proportion. Mix them well with a clean stirring device in a clean container, and then potting can be done. It can also be potted after removing air bubbles under vacuum.
(2)The surface of the potted component needs to be cleaned. If the potting product is too large, it is recommended to potting in stages and then curing at room temperature (4~12hr) or heating (80ºC-0.5hr).
(3)For the automatic potting production line, in order to ensure the accurate mixing ratio of A and B and the normal sizing,components A and B should be vacuumed to remove air bubbles respectively (the time of removing air bubbles is 5~10 minutes), and then the A and B components are mixed into a static mixer according to the proportion, and the mixture can be evenly filled.
(2)The surface of the potted component needs to be cleaned. If the potting product is too large, it is recommended to potting in stages and then curing at room temperature (4~12hr) or heating (80ºC-0.5hr).

Precautions
(1) The rubber compound will precipitate after being placed for a period of time, so please stir the components A and B separately before use, and then do the mixing and stirring. After taking it, keep it tightly sealed.
(2) When stirring, attention should be paid to stirring in the same direction, otherwise too much air bubbles will be mixed in,and the rubber compound at the edge and bottom of the container should also be stirred evenly, otherwise local curing will be poor due to uneven stirring.
(3)Potting on the product and vacuuming again can improve the thermal conductivity of the cured product.
(4) When the product is in use, if it touches substances containing tin, sulfur, amine and other heavy metals, it will be difficult to solidify or not solidify due to "poisoning". Attention should be paid to cleaning during use to prevent impurities from being introduced.
(5)When the product is used, it is strictly forbidden to contact with condensed silicone rubber, epoxy resin and polyurethane toprevent the product from being poisoned and unable to cure.
(3)Potting on the product and vacuuming again can improve the thermal conductivity of the cured product.
(4) When the product is in use, if it touches substances containing tin, sulfur, amine and other heavy metals, it will be difficult to solidify or not solidify due to "poisoning". Attention should be paid to cleaning during use to prevent impurities from being introduced.
