What is SMC water tank?
1. C ombined w ater tank is a new type water tank that widely used in the world.
It is assembled by the high-quality SMC water tank plate. Its characteristic:
(1) It adopts to the food-grade resin, so it can guarantee the water quality and prevent the pollution.
(2) It has the high strength, light weight, corrosion resistant, beautiful appearance, long service life, convenient to maintain and other features.

(1) Support for Panels: The panels shall be supported externally or internally by an adequate support
system. External Reinforcement - Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel; Internal Reinforcement - Hot Dipped Galvanized
or Stainless Steel 304 rod support and tie-rod.
(2) Sealing Materials: Non toxic Rubber foam to be used for all jointing, it is especially developed with long
experience and technology on SMC products. It maintains soft itself and adhesives even at low temperatures .
(3) Bolts, nuts and washers for the assembly of panels: Exposed externally are hot dipped galvanized
steel and in contact with water internally are hot dipped galvanized steel or stainless steel 304 .
(4) Flange: the flanges for inlet, outlet, drainage, overflow are hot dipped galvanized steel or stainless steel
304 .
(5) Ladders: SMC sectional tank of 1.5m depth or more shall be provided with internal ladder made up of
materials same with the supports.The external ladders shall be galvanized mild steel or equivalent .

SMC water tank features:
1) Light weight, high strength.
2) Leak-proof/Water Tightness: Due to the material is fiberglass reinforce plastic with high density, and the sealing tape is high
performance with non toxic, so it's leak-proof tank.
3) Long lifetime, long durable time: the maximum distortion of the sidewall is less than 1 percent for the height;
maximum distortion of the bottom center is less than 10mm. The normal durable lifetime is more than 30 years.
4) Corrosion resisting; anti-rusted.
5) Easy to clean and maintenance management convenient, Drainage at the tank bottom can be cleaned
easily and Manhole panel makes it easy to enter into the water tank inside.
6) Non-toxic, it is made from food grade resin, clean and no pollution. SMC Water Tanks satisfy relevant
Food Sanitation standards. Since exterior light is completely blocked, bacteria generation and germ
growths are prevented.
7) Convenient Installation: Standardized parts are used for on-site installation so that materials can be
brought into restricted areas for convenient installation.
