1. Intended use

Drainage catheter is used to drain effusion, exudate or gas outside of human body. It should stay in human body less than 30 days.
2. Structure and material
 Drainage tube is composed of drainage tube, connecting tube, dilator, scalpel, guidewire, puncture needle, syringe, three-way stopcock, catheter fixer and catheter fixing clip, .
 The drainage tube is made of polyurethane; the connecting tube is made of Polyvinyl chloride; the catheter fixer is made of Polyurethane; the catheter fixing clip is made of polypropylene; the scalpel is made of stainless steel; the guidewire is made of stainless steel; the puncture needle is made of stainless steel and polycarbonate; the dilator is made of polypropylene; three-way stopcock is made of polycarbonate; and the syringe is made of polycarbonate.

4. Warning
 This product is EO sterilized. The package should be checked before using. No use if
unsealing, gas leakage or breakage are found.
 This product must be used before expiry date.
 The product has multiple specifications, select the appropriate specification according to
the patient's situation.
 The device should be used immediately after opening the package.
 The device should be disposed in proper way after use in accordance with local laws or
hospital regulations.
 The product is single use product, no repeat sterilization or reuse, it may cause cross
infection.
5. Instruction for use
 Disinfect the puncture site of skin and covered it with towel, perform topical infiltration and anesthesia;
 Use a puncture needle to puncture it (if necessary, make a small incision at the puncture site);
 Insert guidewire into the puncture needle and send it to drainage position. and keep the position of the guidewire unchanged and withdraw the puncture needle;
 Insert the dilator along the the guidewire to the puncture point, keep the position of the guidewire unchanged and withdraw the dilator;
 Insert the drainage tube along the guidewire, twist it slightly to send the drainage tube forward, after the drainage tube reaches the predetermined drainage position, hold the drainage tube and withdraw the guidewire. Check whether the guidewire is complete after0197 withdrawing;
 Observe the drainage fluid to check whether the drainage position is accurate, connect the connecting tube with the drainage tube and drainage device;
 The drainage tube was fixed on the skin with a catheter fixer;
 After the drainage and extubation, the product should be collected and treated by the hospital in professional way.
