Batteries can be charged and discharged over a large temperature range, but the charge temperature is limited. When temps fall below freezing, the electrical performance of lithium-ion batteries declines, and when conditions are cold(below -20℃) enough,they can fail to transfer any charge. So it is important to fit your LiFePO4 battery with heating pad. DIY box kits add with heating pad, which will automatically heat up when the temperature gets below 0 ℃.
