Product Description

Sodium citrate, also known as sodium citrate, is white crystalline granules or powder at room temperature, odorless, has a cool and salty taste, and is stable in the air. The relative density is 1.857 (23.5°C). It loses water of crystallization at 15Chemicalbook0°C and decomposes when heated continuously. Soluble in water, the pH of the aqueous solution is about 8, hardly soluble in ethanol. It is obtained by neutralizing, concentrating and crystallizing citric acid with sodium hydroxide or sodium carbonate.

Application
1.When fresh blood is taken clinically, some sterilized sodium citrate needs to be added to prevent blood coagulation, so sodium citrate is called an anticoagulant.
2.Used as a flavoring agent and stabilizer in the food and beverage industry;
3.Used as an anticoagulant, expectorant and diuretic in the Chemical book pharmaceutical industry;
4.In the detergent industry, it can replace sodium tripolyphosphate as a non-toxic detergent Auxiliary;
5.Also used in brewing, injection, photography medicine and electroplating, etc. It is one of the basic pharmaceuticals for biological experiments.
