Usage:
1. Food industry:
As a quality improver, disodium hydrogen phosphate can increase the complex metal ions, pH value, and ionic strength of food products, thus improving the adhesion and water-holding properties of food products.
-In food processing, it can also be used as emulsifier, nutritional enhancer, and fermentation aid.
2. Water treatment:
-As a boiler water softener, disodium hydrogen phosphate can effectively prevent the formation of scale in the boiler.
3.Flame retardant:
-Disodium hydrogen phosphate can be used as a flame retardant for fabrics, wood and paper to improve the fire performance of these materials.
4.Detergents & Dyeing:
-Used in the production of detergents to improve the cleaning effect.
-In printing and dyeing industry, it can be used as stabiliser for peroxide bleaching and as filler for rayon to enhance the strength and elasticity of silk.
5. Manufacture of other phosphates:
-Disodium hydrogen phosphate is also a raw material for manufacturing sodium pyrophosphate and other phosphates.
6. Other uses:
-It is also used in electroplating, tanning and other industries.
-Can be used as a culture medium, for example, in the biochemical treatment of sewage.
-Adding disodium hydrogen phosphate to feed can be used as a phosphorus supplement additive.
