hese O-Ring vacuum fittings are commonly used to build foreline vacuum plumbing and process systems. They are also called quick flange fittings because they are quick to assemble.
♦ A C-clamp and Oring form the vacuum seal between the connecting flanges.
♦ The mating flanges compress an Oring while the C-clamp is tightened. This seals the connection and allows the vacuum pump to create the vacuum.
♦ The seal can be use in vacuum applications up to 10-8Torr.
♦ KF Quick Flange Fittings are made of type 304 stainless steel and some fittings come in aluminum.
