Common faults and related solution of corn cutter
(1) Straw blockage
Reason: The position of the picking board is not suitable (the gap is too close ), and the transmission triangle belt is too loose .
Solution : Adjust the clearance of the picking plate to the appropriate size. Due to the different thickness of the straw, the tension of the transmission belt is adjusted between 20-50mm.
(2) The smashed straw is too long
Reason: The clearance of the movable knife is too long , and the blade of it is not sharp.
Solution : Adjust the clearance between the fixed knife and the mo vable knife ranging from 0 . 3-1.5mm.
(3) The peeling effect is not good
Reason: The peeling rubber roller is seriously worn,slip ping from the driven rubber roller .
Solution : change the pressure of stripping roller by adjusting the bolts or replace the stripping rolle r .
(4) Common faults in the gearbox
Phenomenon: The gearbox has abnormal noise, oil leakage or over heat ing .
Reason : Gear or bearing is w orn. I nstallation direction of oil seal is wrong or aging . S ide gap is too close and there are little lubricant oil .
Solution : 1. A djust the gear or bearing installation clearance .
2. R eplace damaged parts .
3. R einstall or replace the oil seal .
4. T ighten the bolts and adjust the oil to the appropriate height .
