We generally use three resins, which are "O" type (polyester phthalate resin), "I" type (polyester phthalate resin) and "V" type (vinyl ester resin). Price is directly related to corrosion resistance. Therefore, before selecting the best type of resin,
customers should check the chemical resistance guidelines and application environment to confirm which is the best choice.
Polyester phthalate (Type O) - This grill is ideal for water/wastewater or air aging applications light industrial applications as well as wave zones on offshore platforms in mild environments. Although the O-type resin is the lowest in chemical resistance, it still provides superior performance to traditional flooring products such as steel, aluminum and wood, and is the most economical resin available. Vinyl ester (Type V) - Developed to withstand frequent and direct contact in the harshest chemical environments. The cost is also the highest of the three.
