First, product introduction
One-component room temperature cured organic silica gel. The rubber material is an elastomer after curing, which has excellent thermal and cold resistance, aging resistance and insulation properties. The rubber layer has excellent moisture resistance, earthquake resistance, corona resistance and leakage resistance. Compared with the general silicone sealant, it has excellent adhesion to the substrate, yellow resistance and moisture resistance.
2. Typical uses
Widely used in electronics, electrical appliances, instruments, household appliances, sensors, electric heating components, solar energy and so on. Dow Corning 3140 RTV coating is a high-viscosity, self-leveling, ready-to-use, room temperature hardened silicone elastomer. The byproducts produced during curing are non-corrosive. Therefore, Dow Corning 3140 RTV coating can be used in electrical/electronic equipment that is prone to corrosion. This product is supplied as a high viscosity liquid, after curing to become a tough, wear-resistant elastomer, mainly used to improve the coverage performance and thin layer seal at the interface between the lead end and the solder. Dow Corning 3140 RTV coating is a clear, translucent material that facilitates visual identification, inspection and repair of coated components. It has good wear resistance and toughness, suitable for applications requiring rugged durability.
