Both the compact 8.4'' and the 10.1'' display are readable in nearly any lighting conditions and also seamlessly react when wet or when the user is wearing gloves. The impact-resistant, scratch-proof Corning Gorilla Glass protects the tablets’ most sensitive components. The ET51/ET56 is IP65-certified against dust and jet water. Plus, it withstands impacts and shocks, making it practical for usage in a vehicle (from a forklift in the warehouse up to delivery trucks on the road). For good native wireless communication the tablets convince with reliable wireless support (802.11ac/r/k/v), GPS and Blue tooth 4.2. For use in the field the ET56 offers full WWAN connectivity with a high data rate in the LTE standard. The rapid Apollo Lake quad-core processor with 1.6 GHz and 4 GB of DDR4 RAM thereby processes large amounts of data at a high speed. Another advantage: the processor minimises energy consumption and increases the life cycle of the battery. On the rear of the tablets there is a practical 8 megapixel colour camera. Via the 2 megapixel front camera it is possible to video conference via WLAN or mobile networks. This way, users are ensured immediate help and support from external experts, colleagues or bosses. With the expansion module with a scan engine, they capture nearly every 1D or 2D barcode, no matter what condition it is in - damaged, dirty or poorly printed. The tablets are also optionally available with Android. In these versions, they feature a higher resolution, a 13 megapixel colour camera on the back and a built-in 5 megapixel front camera. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Octa-core processor with 2.2 GHz and 32 GB of flash memory process large amounts of data at high speed, while the powerful 6,440 mAh lithium polymer battery ensures long operating times. The interfaces include Blue tooth 5.0, WLAN (802.11 ac) and a USB-C interface. The 10.1" version also offers 2x2 MIMO, 4G LTE, as well as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and Beidou support. The 8" version, on the other hand, is available with an integrated barcode scanner, as needed. Thanks to PRZM technology, it even captures damaged or dirty 1D/2D barcodes reliably and quickly.
