Application of Sodium Metabisulfite:
1. Used as bleaching agent, mordant, reducing agent, rubber coagulant, also used in organic synthesis, pharmaceuticals and spices,etc.
2. Used as chromatographic analysis reagent, preservative and reducing agent, used in dye and pharmaceutical industry.
3. Sodium metabisulfite has a stronger reducing property than bisulfite, and its effect is similar to that of sodium sulfite.
