Guard Rack Latex
Guardlac Latex provides a bright finish that highlights wood grain
This wood sealer is a water-based penetrating type. Although it is water-based, it produces a bright finish that highlights the wood grain like a solvent-based sealant.

This is a penetrating sealant, so it features a finish that highlights the pattern of the wood grain.

While certain organic compounds considered harmful to health and the environment are used as ingredients in sealers, water-based Guardlac reduces the content of these compounds to less than 1.2%.
It is compliant with the Ｆ☆☆☆☆ standards regulating
formaldehyde emissions.

The Washin microcapsules we developed encapsulate the compounds that provide protection against rot, insects, and mold in the sealer so that they are released gradually, greatly improving the durability and weather resistance of the wood.

■Standard Application Process
Prepare surface with P150 sandpaper
Brush on Guardlac Latex (approximately 50g/sq. meter) and allow to dry for 2 hours at 20°C or above.
Brush on Guardlac Latex (approximately 50g/sq. meter) and allow to cure overnight.
*Be sure to always test on a piece of scrap wood.
*Use the same color for the 1st and 2nd coats.
*The amount per application varies significantly depending on the absorbency of the material.
The drying time may also vary depending on the condition of the sealer, so please treat these numbers as guidelines.
