Product Description
Zinc carbonate is a carbonate of zinc, MF: ZnCO3, a white fine amorphous powder with no odor. The main component of smithsonite is formed in the weathering of secondary minerals or oxidation zones of zinc bearing deposits, sometimes replacing carbonate rocks that may form zinc ore. Zinc carbonate is used as a lightweight astringent, formulated with calamine, skin protectant, and raw material for latex products.
