Gyokuro is Japan's rarest and most exclusive Sencha green tea. Due to its harvest period and the utmost care required in its cultivation, only limited quantities are available. To again its robust umami flavor, the tea leaves are shielded from direct sunlight for 20 days before harvest. Gyokuro's characteristic fragrance is that of a covered scent – the jewel of dew.

A breed grown from seedlings in Kameyama, Mie Prefecture. A scent like green grass with touch of seaweeds. A smooth mouthfeel and a lingering aftertaste that contains complex flavors. Impressive aroma that various flavors are tightly assorted.


Traditional Gyokuro Green Tea FUKUOKA

The appellation "Traditional Gyokuro" is only grown in Yame area, be natural without cordon, shielding by Natural materials such as straw, and harvesting by hand. Exceptionally rich and robust umami.

How to brew tea
For HOT : tea leaves 7g / temperature 35℃ / water 30ml / steep for 3min.
For Cold brew : tea leaves 20g / water 1litter / steep for 8hour in refrigerator
