1. Broilers/ Meat chicken

Generally speaking, the light colors suitable for broilers include red light, green light, blue light, yellow light, etc.
Our experiments show that red light has the best effect on the weight gain of broiler chicks, and fluorescent lights are the worst.While blue light and green light can significantly promote the growth of broilers, and increase the feed conversion rate, the total clean hall rate, chest muscle weight, and leg muscle weight.

2.Laying hens/ Egg-laying chicken

Light colors vary, with different wavelengths, and have diverse effects on laying hens. Experiments show that the laying rate of laying hens under red light is notably higher than that of hens under other colors, generally increasing by around 20%. Moreover, red light also functions in enhancing the sexual maturity of chickens, raising the egg weight, promoting stability, and lowering the fertilization rate of roosters.

3.Breeder chickens/P arent stock

The 3000K warm white light is fitting for breeder chickens, and experiments indicate that it can enhance the quality of chicken seedlings more than other temps. Also, be aware that red and yellow lights will reduce the fertilization rate of breeder chickens and shouldn't be used.
