Description of Electric Rickshaw Engine Conversion kit:
1. What is the application of this Kit?
This kit mainly as per the customer self Hands-on ability.which can use for the tricycle, rickshaw, pedicab, ebike etc vehicles, the motor is geared motor. So Which output speed is not fast, but its torque is big.
If the customer can’t sure what motor should use, please send the vehicle photos to us, then we can recommend the correct motor to you.
2.How to install the kit?
This motor kit is easy to install to the vehicle, just need to fix the adapter to the vehicle axle, then mount the sprocket to it, and fix the motor to the vehicle frame, then link the motor pinion and the sprocket by the chain.
If customer do not know how to fix the motor, please send the vehicle photos to us, so we can give you suggestion.
3. What is the speed of the kit?
This kit just for people riding tricycle easier, it is not fast (26-inch tricycle can run about 20km/h), 600W motor loading weight is about 300kg.
4. If the kit include battery?what battery it should be use?
This kit does not include battery, The customer need to buy the battery separately, the lead acid battery and the lithium battery are all ok, and the battery capacity recommend 48V 15-20Ah.
5. If the Kit have reverse function?
This Kit controller does not have "reverse" function, but we can provide a switch that can makes the motor rotates reverse(please kindly notice this kit are default not include the reverse switch inside).
but as this kit uses the freewheel sprocket, it can drive the vehicle go forward only, if you want it drive reverse, you need to use a fixed sprocket or weld the freewheel to make it fixed, please understand.
