The prefinished  Oak treads with our PU clear-coat applied. Traditional Oak stair treads are 1 1/16 "(25mm) &  1 3/4 "(38mm) thick . But we can make from 20-100mm thick stair treads in both red & white oak , iroko , walnut , acacia , etc. These treads are sometimes identified by their part number --red Oak Plain Stair Tread.

Our standard stair treads are 25mm (1") thick. The stair treads can be prepared with a left or right hand return, or manufactured with a double end return to any length. Stair treads are available in standard sizes or can be custom made to your specifications. Stair treads are also available in almost any other hardwood species like oak, maple, walnut, teak, etc . to match your color of flooring, furniture etc.

All our wood stair parts including wood stair treads and risers can be ordered unfinished or prefinished with tread coat, a very durable UV varnish specifically made for high traffic areas. Wood stair treads and risers can also be stained with a standard stain color or have a custom stain of your choice applied.

Yorking Hardwood  Oak stair treads are made from 100% solid and Select Grade Oak  and shipped pre-sanded and ready for a coat of stain and polyurethane to be applied on site.
