Products Description
Shuangxin PVA, White or slightly yellow granules or powder, it is a water-soluble and environmentally friendly polymer with a wide range of uses. Its performance is between plastic and rubber.
Properties:
(1) Solubility: It has strong hydrophilicity and is easily soluble in water (it can be slowly dissolved at room temperature, generally dissolved in hot water above 85°C), and insoluble in almost all organic solvents. PVA-2088 will produce foam during the dissolution process, which can be solved by adding defoamer.
(2) Film-forming: easy to form a film, and its film has excellent mechanical properties. Except for H2O, the PVA film has excellent barrier properties to H2, N2, O2 and other gases.
(3) Adhesion: It not only has good adhesion with hydrophilic fibers, paper, etc., but also has good adhesion with hydrophobic fibers.
(4) Thermal stability: When the sheet is heated to above 130°C, the appearance changes gradually. The partially alcoholyzed PVA begins to melt at around 180-190 °C and decomposes at 200 °C.
(5) Solvent resistance: PVA has strong resistance to weak acid and weak alkali, and has good oil resistance.
