RP-C resistive pressure sensitive sensors are flexible thin-film sensors whose resistance decreases as the pressure applied to the sensing zone increases.
The single sensing zone sensor is equivalent to a two-port variable resistor whose resistance value is controlled by pressure, and is also equivalent to a switch with a threshold value that is determined by both pressure and device parameter settings.
The RP-C flexible thin film pressure sensitive sensor is composed of a polyester film with excellent mechanical properties, highly conductive material and nano-level pressure sensitive material, the top layer is the flexible film and the pressure sensitive layer laminated on it, the bottom layer is the flexible film and the conductive circuit laminated on it. The two are laminated by double-sided adhesive and isolate the sensing area. When the sensing area is pressurized, the lines that are disconnected from each other in the bottom layer will conduct through the pressure-sensitive layer in the top layer, and the resistance output value of the port will change with the pressure.
