Like the original SFB, the SFB Gen 2 is designed for first responders, military professionals, law enforcement, and tactical athletes, the boot features a durable leather and nylon canvas upper with extra puncture resistance at the forefoot. Additionally, an internal rock shield should also protect against punctures and reduce pressure.
The new SFB Gen 2 features an updated locking lace system that allows wearers to lace up once with a pull at the top of the laces for quick on and off. The boots rides atop a Free-inspired foam midsole with an aggressive rubber traction pattern. Sawtooth details at the arch should offer good grip for roping and the outsole is stitched on for durability. The added durability comes at a slight weight increase.
