Spiral Freezer

This machine is equipped with layer-by-layer transmission technology which is similar to European technology. The gear motor drives the gear on every layer through a spindle, and the gear stir the convey belt for movement. Every gear has intelligent power transmitter which can adjust the convey power. It is also a kind of advanced and efficient air-cooling system, which is used widely in many industries, especially in food processing field. It cools down the products (like bakery products from oven or French fries from frying machine) by room temperature air (sometimes adopt circulating fans). The belt speed is variable, so the retention time from inlet to outlet is much flexible. Suitable for cooling many kinds of products.

● Input and output directions can be designed according to customers workshop's area, such as low input and high output/high input and low output/two input and two output/three input and three output, the elliptic type is also available.

The compact offers flexible belt configurations in three different layouts, rotating clockwise or counter-clockwise and upwards or downwards conveying. The number of tiers and clearance between the tiers can be adapted to the particular product and capacity.

The wall and ceiling panels of the insulating enclosure are lined inside with stainless steel, while the floor
consists of a fully seam-welded stainless steel tray with defined drains. The unit can be accessed by means of two stainless steel doors in the insulating enclosure with contact switches and an electrical frame heating.

Frequency-controlled main and auxiliary drives enable infi nitely variable regulation of the belt speed and, thus, the retention times.

Whether equipped with a loading conveyor for the transfer of form sensitive products onto the already collapsed belt, a
horizontal infeed conveyor for safe delivery at the infeed or a discharge conveyor for the downstream system – the arctic adapts perfectly to every layout.

Every compact can be defrosted with fan-driven air once the refrigerant has been switched off. Furthermore, the defrosting process can be enhanced and carried out more effi ciently by means of hot gas or electrical heat.
