FAQ
Question:I can't get the hanger to attach... what am I doing wrong?
Answer:
If you mean the hanger/hook, there are two holes on the left of the feeder as you face the front and one on the right. One end of the hanger/hook has extra length and extra squarish turns. First feed that end into the top hole on the left. Push it just past the first turn, then keep feeding it and manipulating/turning it until you have the end coming out the bottom hole so that the end sticks out maybe 1/2 inch. Then slip the other end directly into the single hole on the right. As you are doing the left side, the hanger/hook may be at the front of the feeder, not at the top but as you feed it into the lower hole, it will turn to the top. There should be about 1/2 inch sticking out on the left and on the right, 1/2 inch showing inside. Hope this helps.
Question:Does it come with the hook for hanging?
Answer:
It has no hook. I hung it from a shepherds hook, although I did have to attach a loop of heavy twist ties, or you could use picture hanging wire,to it to make sure the feeder faced the house.

Answer:
You may leave the tension unhooked.

It's about a foot tall with the hanger.
