Both Sae 1541 and 1026 are iron alloys, but due to their specific chemical composition, they have different mechanical properties. SAE 1541 Pipe has Brinell Hardness within the range of 210-220 whereas for SAE 1026, it is within 140-160. Similarly, the min tensile strength of 1541 is between 720-790 MPa, and min yield strength is between 390-680 MPa. However for SAE 1026 material, the min tensile strength falls within the range of 500-550 MPa, and min yield strength is between 270-470 MPa.
