CONDUCTIVE FIBC BAGS
- Some bulk materials can create static energy during filling and discharging. In order to avoid this, grounded conductive big bags are adopted for filling flammable items. With the bags earthed, the application of the -60KV corona voltage produces a surface potential on bags of less than 5KV.
- Type C FIBCs, also known as conductive FIBCs or ground-able FIBCs, are made from non-conductive polypropylene fabrics interwoven with conducting threads traditionally sewn in a grid pattern. These conducting threads must be electrically interconnected as well as connected to a designated ground/earth during filling and discharging
-Type C bags can effectively remove the static electricity generated from loading and unloading the
products, preventing combustion and explosion.
