Polyester insulation batt extruded 18mm foam board manufacture
is divided into two types: expandable EPS and continuous extrusion XPS. Compared with EPS board, XPS is the third generation of rigid foam insulation material. In terms of technology, it overcomes the complicated production process of EPS board. It is made of polystyrene resin and other additives through the extrusion process. It has a continuous and uniform surface layer and a closed-cell honeycomb structure. These thick honeycomb-structured plates have no gaps at all. This kind of closed-cell structure Insulation materials can have different pressures (150-500kpa) and at the same time have the same low thermal conductivity (only 0.028w/mk) and excellent insulation and compressive performance, and the compressive strength can reach 220-400kpa.
