The shell and sides of the Kubota BX Attachments 60″ light material bucket is constructed of 12ga mild steel to keep the weight to a minimum and the shell has viewing holes cut into the back of it to give you better forward visibility. The leading edge of the buckets sides have been reinforced with .25” gussets to prevent deforming and strengthen the sides for years of hard use. There are also 2 internal reinforcing gussets vertical with the back of the bucket to help keep the back of the bucket straight and absorb the impact of the tractor when being used. The mounts also have a 2” tube that lays across the top of the hitch points to help spread the load of the tractor out across the entire bucket shell and not just where they are welded. The bottom of the mount also have load spreading gussets welded in and land right at the bend of the shell for maximum strength and rigidity.

At the front of the bucket lays a massive .5” x 4” 1055 grade carbon steel cutting edge, this is the same grade material used on the big skid loader buckets. This also has holes cut into it for an optional bolt on cutting edge as well.
