The product is used the high quality coconut shell as raw material, and produced by carbonization, high temperature steam activation, pretreatment and other processing. Its appearance is black irregular granular. It has features of pore structure developed, large surface area, high wear resistance, large adsorption capacity, high gold recovery rate, easy to desorption and reusability. It is mainly used for extraction of gold and other precious metals by carbon paste process and heap leaching process.
The coconut shell activated carbon is applicable to gold extracting with cyanidation process in carbon-in-pulp (carbon-in-leach) or heap-in-leach.
Furthermore, it can be also used in drinking water filter treatment, MSG refinery, etc..
