What is dimer acid ?
Dimer acid as a yellow transparent viscous liquid, an 18 carbon unsaturated fatty acids by polymerization of intermolecular compound. Distillation is cotton oleic acid soybean oil as raw material, the use of advanced technology and separation technology polymerization acidification obtained with high purity dicarboxylic acids. Dimer acid with stable performance, non-toxic, non-volatile, high flash and fire, good fluidity, low temperatures, ice, insoluble in most organic solvents properties, widely used in practical applications
Function of dimer acid
Regular dimer acid is widely used in producing polyamide resin, epoxy resin curing agent, hot-melt adhesive, hot plastic products, cable, lubricating oil and antiseptic oil.
High purity dimer acid can be used to compose high-grade polyamide resin, hot-melt adhesive, epoxy curing agent, oil field corrosion inhibitor, surfactant, lubricant, degreaser and so on. "
