Product Description
Buoys come in different types and specifications, and can be divided into inland river buoys and offshore buoys according to the waters where they are deployed.
Buoys and light buoys are floating navigation marks. They are kept at the designed position with mooring equipment. They have a certain radius of maneuver and their positions are not fixed. They can only be used to aid navigation. Commonly used buoys are generally made of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, steel plates, or fiberglass. One end is tied to the bottom of the water, and it floats on the water surface. It is used to indicate the boundaries of the waterway, navigation obstacles and dangerous areas.
The function of buoys is to mark channel shoals or obstacles that endanger navigation safety. Buoys equipped with lamps are called light buoys. They can be equipped with solar navigation lights, GPS synchronized flashing, and remote control telemetry navigation
light systems. They are used to aid navigation in day and night navigation waters. Some buoys can also be equipped with radar transponders and other auxiliary equipment. .
Inland river buoys include drum buoys, triangular buoys, rod buoys, cross-current buoys and left and right navigation buoys. The shape, coloring, top mark, light quality, etc. of the buoy must be installed and manufactured according to specified standards,and all have specific meanings.
The basic shapes of the sea buoy body include tank shape, cone shape, spherical shape, column shape, rod shape, etc. Due to the
influence of wind, waves and tides, the mark body has a certain floating range and cannot be used as a mark to determine the
ship's position.
