Furfurylaminopurine (kinetin) is a substance that can promote the division and differentiation of plant cells. It is widely present in seaweeds and most plants. Application:
Kinetin has many application effects.
1. Put 0.5mg/L into callus culture medium at the earliest (need to cooperate with auxin) to induce budding.
2. Spraying seedlings of various crops with 20mg/L kinetin can promote growth. 3. 300~400mg/L to treat flowering apples to promote fruit setting.
4. Treat detached leaves such as corn with 40~80mg/L to prolong the time for the leaves to turn yellow.
5. Spray the leaves of celery, spinach and lettuce at 20mg/L to keep green and prolong the storage period.
6. Spray the leaves of cabbage and cabbage at 40mg/L to extend the storage period.
Precautions:
1. Since the biological activity of kinetin is not as high as 6-BA, the yield of synthesis is low, and its application in production is less reported.
