The Dow Corning 340 Thermal complex is a grease-like silicone material with a large amount of thermal conductive metal oxide filler. The compound has high thermal conductivity, low oil permeability and good high temperature stability. The compound maintains a consistency up to about 177°C. As a result, it helps maintain reliable radiator sealing, which will improve heat transfer from electrical/electronic components to the radiator or chassis.
The Dow Corning 340 Cooling complex is used for base and mounting bolts for transistors, diodes and thyristor rectifiers. It can also be used for efficient thermal connection of many cooling devices that require effective cooling.
