Malaria Rapid Test is an one step highly sensitive test kit for the determination of Malaria infection. The Malaria Pf Ag test kit is designed for detection of Plasmodium falcifarum in human whole blood. The Malaria Pv Ag test kit is desigened for detection of the other three milder Plasmodium species in human whole blood. And the Malaria Pf/Pv test kit is designed for the differential detection of Plasmodium falcifarum and the other three milder Plasmodium species.
Malaria is a serious, sometimes fatal, parasitic disease characterized by fever, chills, arthralgia and anemia.The infection is caused by plasmodium that is transmitted from one human to another by the bite of infected Anopheles mosquitoes. Four species of plasmodium can infect and be transmitted among humans. Severe disease is largely caused by Plasmodium falciparum, while disease caused by Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium ovale and Plasmodium malarias is generally much milder. The disease is a major health problem in much of the tropics and subtropics.
