4.How long does it take for the bag to work?
It begins working immediately after you open the bag. However, because it doesn't give off a scent like an air freshener, it can be difficult to know if it's working right away. But you'll know soon. In just a few days, you will notice major improvements. Within a week, odors will be completely neutralized.
5.Where is the best placement for the
Deodorizer Bags Air Freshener car
?
It depends on the bag's size and purpose. It is best to put the bag in fairly open areas where air can pass through – it's not good to tuck it away or place it underneath things (unless, of course, you're using it for a gym bag or hamper – but when you're placing it in a room or a car, you want to have air circulation around the bag). You do not have to hang the Deodorizer Bags Air Freshener car, unless you find it more convenient to store it that way. Placing it on a table is enough. The Moso Bag can be placed on absolutely any surface or material.
6. I left my Moso Bag in the rain; is it ruined?
It may not have that fresh, out-of-the-package look but it is not permanently damaged. Simply place the bag in the sun to let it dry out. Once it's dry, the charcoal will begin to work again.
7.Why does the bag only last for one years?
The Bag works by adsorbing pollutants from the air and temporarily storing them in its' pores until rejuvenation. Once placed outside in the sun, the UV rays release and disintegrate the pollutants. Some of the more serious toxins, such as formaldehyde, can leave a very small amount of residue behind in the pores. This builds up over time, making the Moso Bag less effective at adsorbing particles out of the air. Sometimes the bag lasts more than two years; you will have to be the judge of that.
8.Is the Bag safe around pets?
Yes! The Bag contains one ingredient only – bamboo charcoal – which has no chemicals or toxins, making it completely safe to use around pets and children.
9.How do I rejuvenate the bag?
To rejuvenate, we recommend placing your bag in the sun once a month for at least one hour. We recommend flipping over the Moso Bag occasionally while it is in the sun so all of the bamboo charcoal can rejuvenate. If you live somewhere that doesn't have much sun, know that the Charcoal Odor Absorber will last for more than 30 days without sun, and in some cases as long as 90 days. However, you'll get the best performance when you put it in the sun every 30 days.
10.Can the bamboo charcoal be recycled?
Absolutely! Bamboo charcoal is an amazing product. After two years as an air purifier, the bamboo charcoal makes a wonderful addition to your garden, where it promotes plant growth and completes its lifecycle as a product that comes from the earth and ultimately gives back to the earth.
11.Why is bamboo charcoal better than regular charcoal?
Bamboo charcoal is simply a better, all-around product. Regular charcoal is made from normal trees (not bamboo) so it takes decades for the trees to grow back once they are cut down. Charcoal Odor Absorber is a grass and grows back to full maturity in 5 years. Regular charcoal production pollutes the air, whereas bamboo charcoal is a carbon neutral process. Bamboo charcoal is more porous (about 10 times), so you need a lot less of it to cover a much larger space.
