Brief description
YJS-520 is soft silicone with hardness Shore A 20
. It is
2 Part Room Temperature Vulcanised (RTV - 2) silicones use humidity in the open air for it to fully vulcanise.
These silicones are best for general purpose uses where casting resins such as polyester, polyurethane, epoxy as well as polyurethane foams and low melting metals are to be cast. Small amount of shrinkage occurs with these silicones.
Pourable in nature, they can be thickened into a brushable consistency with certain additives.

Storage
YJS-520 has a shelf life of at least 12 months in the sealed container between 5ºC and 30ºC. If the material is kept beyond 12 months it is not necessarily unusable, but a test should be performed on the product to check suitability to the application
