All the JL-240 series photocontrol receptacles were designed for the lanterns those intended to have an ANSI C136.10 receptacle to fit a twist-lock photocontrol. This series conform newly published ANSI C136.41 to allow a LED lamp multi-controlled through the receptacle.
This series offers 2 or 4 gold-plated low voltage pads on the top surface to fit photocontrol has ANSI C136.41 conforming spring contacts, and offers 2 or 4 wiring leads at rear side for signal connection.
This series also offers 360° rotation limiting feature to conform ANSI C136.10 requirements, in case rotatable.

Installation Instructions
1.Disconnect power,
a.during installing JL-240X/TX, please refer to the product structure drawing to determine the
pre-opening ofthe lamp body.
2.Connect the leading wire as shown below
a.The black wire is connected to the L wire of power
b.The red wire is connected to the L wire of lamp
c.The white wire is connected to the N wire of power and the N wire of lamp; big pin against
big holes, Install the light controller socket and turn it clockwise about 30 degrees to lock.
d.The purple wire is connected to the positive pole of the power supply, and the gray line is
connected to the negative pole of the power supply. Install the light controller/short circuit

3.Matters need attention
a.Depending on the type of washer and
mounting screws used, and in order to meet
the
waterproof performance, it is recommended that the installer use the appropriate torsion to
install screws to ensure a tight fit between the socket, seal ring and the lamp housing.
b.The controller with special functions has special requirements for the location and direction
of the socket installation. Please position the socket direction so that the N indicator points
north.
