Products Description
Straight axis
This is the welded replacement spindle for the 2000 to 22000 pound trailer axle. This is a BT 16 trailer spindle that can accommodate 1 1/16 "wheel bearings and 1 1/2" Id grease seals. You will see the exact size in the photo. You can use this spindle with a pre lubricated marine trailer hub, which is sealed with galvanized 5 lugs 1 1/16 "bearing 1 1/2" to completely replace one side of the trailer axle. This spindle includes a spindle washer, slotted nut, and cotter pin.
This is an Accu-Lube type spindle, which means you can use the grease joint at the tip of the spindle to regularly oil the trailer wheel bearings. The grease enters the joint and is then discharged through the grease port located directly inside the grease seal. This allows the grease to be contained and sealed in the chamber of the hub. The total length of this mandrel is 8 1/2 ".
The function of trailer straight axle
Trailer straight axle is a commonly used mechanical component in engineering machinery such as trailers, trucks, excavators, loaders, etc. Its main function is to transmit the power of the vehicle engine to the transmission system to drive mechanical equipment.
The straight axle of a trailer usually consists of one or more axles, which are connected together through threads or pins to form a whole. One end of the spindle is connected to the vehicle's engine or generator, while the other end is connected to the transmission system of the mechanical equipment. On the straight axle of a trailer, there is usually a reducer or transmission used to reduce or change the power of the axle to meet the load and speed requirements of mechanical equipment.
The function of a trailer's straight axle is to transmit the vehicle's power to mechanical equipment to drive the equipment to work. It is usually used for mechanical equipment that requires a lot of power, such as trailers, trucks, and excavators.
Trailer straight axle manufacturing process
Trailer straight axle is a special mechanical component commonly used in large mechanical equipment such as cranes and excavators. The production process requires the following steps: trailer straight axle manufacturing process
Material selection: The straight axle of the trailer is usually made of high-strength alloy steel materials, such as 40Cr or GCr15. These materials need to have high hardness, toughness, and wear resistance to meet the requirements of long-term use.
Cutting: Use cutting equipment to cut alloy steel materials into the required dimensions and shapes.
Forming: Cutting materials through forming equipment to form the initial shape of the trailer's straight axis.
Heat treatment: Heat treat the straight axle formed by the trailer to improve its hardness and toughness. Heat treatment usually uses techniques such as carburization and quenching to achieve the required performance indicators.
Polishing: After heat treatment, polish the straight axle of the trailer to eliminate surface defects and errors, and achieve the required size and accuracy.
Coating: Apply a layer of wear-resistant coating on the surface of the trailer's straight axle to improve its wear and corrosion resistance.
Assembly: Assemble the trailer straight axle with other components such as bearings, gears, etc. to form a complete trailer straight axle system.
Inspection: Conduct quality testing on the assembled trailer straight axle system, including measuring dimensions, hardness, toughness, and other indicators to ensure that it meets the required performance requirements.
The above are the main steps in the production process of trailer straight axle, and the specific production process may vary depending on process requirements and technical bottlenecks.
